TUTORIAL HOURS:
Before School: I am here most mornings, Wednesday I have duty in B hall. I will help you at any time.
SPEAR:
After School: I am here until 4:15
If you want to schedule a tutorial time prior to or after school let me know via email or personally and I will make sure to arrive earlier or stay later.
SUPPLIES:
Forensics: Composition Notebook, map pencils, graph paper
Astronomy: Composition Notebook, map pencils, graph paper, flashlight with a red balloon, this is for night labs.
Physics: Composition Notebook; Graphing composition notebook.
Grading:
Formative: 40% of your grade. This will be homework, daily work, and Lab reportsSummative: 60% of your grade. This will be test and projects.
Unless you are in the AP course. The grading information for AP is:
Formative: 35% of your grade
Summative: 65% of your grade
Project grades. Will be one Summative and one Formative grade.
Late Work Policy:
You will have 2 days to make up late work for the maximum grade of 70. If you turn it the work after the timeline no credit will be given, however it will be evaluated so you will know if you did it correct for the exam.
Redo work (if the work was turn in on time):
The Student must request the work to be regraded. They must attend a tutorial within three class periods to turn in the work. The work will be regraded for a maximum grade of 70 after the criteria has been meet.
REDO of low TEST grades:
Students will need to come in for tutorials within the three class periods of the test being returned. After the tutorial is attended the student can RETAKE the test the next tutorial period.
Absent Work:
A student is permitted to make up work missed during an absent, however it is the students responsibility to obtain and complete the missing work. For any classwork missed I may give the student an alternate assignment with the instructional objectives that were covered the day of the absence. I do understand that you will have 8 other classes to make up work for. You will have to schedule a tutorial within 2 days of returning to school to work on the missed assignment.
If you know you are going to be absent ahead of time then PLEASE email me. I will get you the work prior to you being absent.
